Singapore Flyer is the new iconic attraction of Singapore. Give you a stunning view 165m from the ground, right above the shimmering Marina Bay waterfront, to another iconic places and historical landmarks of Singapore down below. Such as Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place and the Padang. As the Flyer wheel turns 360o, you will have the most breathtaking and panoramic experience of Singapore. While having the spectacular ride, you can also have your taste buds experiencing the local favorites and international cuisine from the Flyer restaurants. The Flyer is open from 8.30am to 10.30pm, giving you the variety of day and night sky view. Singapore Zoo offer daylight and night adventures (Night Safari) of animals’ life. You can explore the zoo by riding the tram, by foot or join the adventure packages. On daylight, the Zoo offers many shows such as feeding the animal, animal encounters and ride, animal photographs and some special event's show. On the Night Safari, you will have a closer look of the nocturnal animals life. You can also choose to go on the tram ride, or by foot, even both experience.

The Singapore Zoo open between 8.30am to 6pm. and the Night Safari starting from 7.30pm to 12 midnight daily. Wheelchairs are available for free (on first come first serve basis). Strollers for little one and little wagon for bigger kids to pushed and pull around, also available to rent. 90% of the zoo area is accessible by wheel. The Singapore Botanic Garden is a 63.7 hectares area of botanic and experimental garden located around 20 minutes by car from Changi Airport or 10 minutes from Orchard Road [ Get directions]. You can just walk accross the area, but highly advised to get the map and brochures provided at the entrance and on information boards, to guides you along the way. Except for the Orchid Garden, other area in Botanic Garden is free.

The Botanic Garden main attraction is the National Orchid Garden (in the Central Core area). It's around 10 minutes walk from the Visitor Centre. The Orchid Garden now offer a permanent showcase, the largest diplay of tropical orchids in the world. It's offer the diversity, richness and beauty of over 1000 orchid species and 2000 hybrids. Orchid Garden open from 8.30am to 7pm daily.

Most of the garden area is enjoyable for all ages. But the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden, is designed specially for your little ones. It's has its own entrance at Bukit Timah (same entrance with the NUS Bukit Timah Campus). This garden is has quite large area suitable for kids to explore and interactively learn about life science. The garden divided into smaller area like Water Play area, play ground, a tree house with slides and sling, nature maze, and some interactive exhibits on the life science (such as photosyntesis showcase and showcase of different uses of plants). There is also a refresment area near the entrance. Its open for children and their parents, from 8am to 7pm daily.

Another interesting places in Botanic Garden are the lakes. There are three lakes, namely Symphony Lake, Eco-Lake and Swan Lake. The Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage on Symphony Lake occasionally has free concerts on weekends. Notable performers include the Singapore Symphony Orchestr and Singapore Chinese Orchestra.

Sentosa Island is a small island in the southern coast of main island of Singapore. It has 2km long beaches, with some cafes, restaurant and hotel/resorts. Interesting activities for visitor are golf courses (available for kids and adults), water sports along its three main beaches (Palawan, Siloso and Tanjong Beach) and have some adrenalin pump on the Sentosa Luge and Skyride, or the Flying Trapeze.

One of popular places is The Merlion. This is the biggest replica of iconic symbol of Singapore, a 37 meters tall creature that can be 'climbed' using elevators inside. Down below, the Merlion Walk, a 120 meters long mosaic walkway is a nice place to get the huge look of The Merlion, or have a rest, even for kids to play in its water park.

You can go to Sentosa Island buy public transports such as bus and MRT. Another way is using Sentosa Express or Cable Car. The Sentosa Express is a light monorail provided fast transport to Sentosa from VivoCity Mall, in less than four minutes. The Cable Car services, also available from the HarborFront (linked to VivoCity area), provide return ride from Sentosa to the Jewel Box, Singapore's iconic hilltop destination at Mount Faber.

Singapore's Chinatown is a large area composed of a several sub-districts. There are four main districts - Kreta Ayer, Telok Ayer, Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Pasoh - each with its own distinctive flavour. Highly visited during the Chinese New Year and Mid Autumn Festival, but also having hive activities all year round.
